‘Torun/Andersa – a place where you can grow’ conference and ‘symbolic groundbreaking’ ceremony in the investment areas
On the 15th of October 2018, a ‘symbolic groundbreaking’ ceremony was held to inaugurate the construction of the complex technical infrastructure in the investment areas located at Andersa Street (ul. Andersa), which had been preceded by the conference ‘Torun/Andersa – a place where you can grow’, aimed at potential investors – entrepreneurs from the SME sector. This ‘symbolic groundbreaking’ was carried out by the following public figures: the Mayor of Torun – Michał Zaleski, the President of the Board Torun Regional Development Agency– Michał Korolko, the Secretary of the of Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship – Marek Smoczyk, and the President of PBDI S.A. – Piotr Leczkowski, representative of the general contractor of the work being carried out. The aim of the conference was to present the investment areas located at Andersa Street (ul. Andersa) as a place for the development of SME sector companies. The economic potential of the City of Torun of Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship being presented as an investor-friendly region for developing investment zones and infrastructure facilities for business growth. Different forms of financial aid available to entrepreneurs were also discussed. The event was a great opportunity to present ‘the areas on site’ and to visit the location that will shortly be transformed thanks to investors i.e. entrepreneurs from the SME sector.
